Breeders Excellent Award

To apply for a GSDCA  Breeders Excellent plaque

           - read the eligibility criteria below

           - send an email to [email protected] with the following information: 

            *your name and breeder prefix, *full name of dog, *name of owner *copy of pedigree *evidence of first excellent eg link to official results page 

           - the Breed Affairs Co-ordinator will advise you of the cost of the plaque and how to pay

           - Breed Affairs Co-ordinator will make arrangements for the plaque to be awarded to you.

Eligibility Criteria:

4.5.1 Excellent in Conformation: A plaque be available from the GSDCA, for Member Clubs to purchase and present to their Breeders for any animal receiving a GSDCA Excellent grading for the first time in conformation. 4.5.1.1 It is the Breeders responsibility to apply to their Member Club for this award. 4.5.1.2 The plaque shall state “Breed Excellent”.

4.5.2 Excellent in Obedience, Rally, Tracking or Agility: A plaque be available from the GSDCA, for Member Clubs to purchase and present to their Breeders for any animal receiving a GSDCA Excellent grading for the first time in obedience, rally, tracking/TSD or agility, provided that the dog has also been successfully Breed Surveyed. 4.5.2.1 It is the Breeders responsibility to apply to their Member Club for this award. 4.5.2.2 The plaque shall state the discipline in which the Excellent was gained. (i.e. Obedience, Rally, Tracking/TSD or Agility).

13 Club

Members who have a purebred German Shepherd Dog who has reached the age of 13, upon application, will have their dog recognised on the club website and receive a certificate acknowledging this great achievement.

To apply for the 13 Club:

            - send an email to [email protected] with the following information: 

              *your name *your dogs full name *copy of pedigree *current photo if available

             - the Breed Affairs Co-ordinator will arrange to acknowlege your dog on the website and the certificate presentation
