Vest Collection: 8.00am - 8.30 am
Judging commences: 9.00 am - with Sire's Progeny
N.B: morning and afternoon tea and lunch breaks will be taken at appropriate times.
Classes: (strictly closed ages)
1 / 1A Baby Puppy 3 months - under 6 months
2 / 2A Minor Puppy 6 months - under 9 months
3 / 3A Puppy 9 months - under 12 months
4 / 4A Junior 12 months - under 18 months
5 / 5A Intermediate 18 months - under 24 months
11 / 11A Open 24 months (2yrs) and over
Order of judging:
Sire's Progeny, Dam's Progeny, Dogs (excluding Open Dog),
Veteran's Parade. All bitches, followed by Open Dogs.
There will be 15 minute breaks taken after the Intermediate
Bitch Class and also at the conclusion of the Open Bitch
class before the Open Dogs class.
Entry Fees:
Initial entry includes catalogue
Non-Members of any GSDCA affilliate - $40.00 all entries;
Non members (of GSDCT Inc. residing in Tasmania): Minor - Open
classes - $35.00 all entries.
Members of GSDCT (Inc.): (Minor Puppy - Intermediate classes inclusive)
$30.00 initial entry - $25.00 subsequent entries, except for Open classes
which are all $30.00 per entry.
All Baby Puppies $20.00 (members and non-members of GSDCT (Inc.)
Catalogues:
Included with initial entry - $4.00 on the day
Awards:
Place Sashes to 1st, 2nd and 3rd placings in each class.
Gradings:
Excellent / Excellent Merit Medallions: Only animals from the
Open Class that are 2 years or older and successfully breed surveyed
(Class 1 or 2) through the GSDCA breed survey scheme are eligible to
be graded Excellent / Excellent Merit.
Grading Certificates:
To all eligible graded animals. Gradings are only awarded at the
judge's discretion.
Trophies:
To all first placed animals. Sieger and Siegerin are only awarded
to exhibits in the Open classes. All other classes are Best ... ie
Best Intermediate Bitch, Best Intermediate Dog etc. No run offs !!!
NOTE:
Sieger and Siegerin Shields remain the property of the GSDCT Inc. and must be returned.
All engraving of these shields is the responsibility of the winning owners. Sieger and Siegerin
titles are only awarded to animals that have been domiciled in Tasmania for 6 months prior to
this event. This only applies to the Open Classes.

Clarification of the word Domiciled: That the German Shepherd Dog/Bitch is resident or having a place of abode within Tasmania for a period of six (6) months immediately before the State Breed Assessment (S.B.A.)
Sire's/Dam's Progeny: Entry is automatic and will be catalogued. Name plaques for Sires/Dams are the responsibility of owners !! Owners of Sires/Dams with progeny will be notified.
Veterans Parade: This parade is open to all veterans 7 yrs. of age and over except those which are entered in the Open Class in the Assessment. Entry is to be submitted on a "cheque book" entry form and received by the closing date for the Assessment. Entry is free and a written resume is required.
Please Note:
Handlers must have current ANKC Affiliate membership and card to handle any animal at
any GSDCA Survey or GSDCT Inc. event. A full list of rules is available from the breed affairs offficer.
Animals entered in the Open classes may be subjected to Temperament and Gun Testing.

Trophy Table:
All donations to the trophy table will be greatly appreciated and for those who wish to have their name or kennel engraved on the trophy/trophies the Club requires notification with donation.

Regulation 93 (TCA Regulations)
Any person causing annoyance, by unsportsmanlike, abusive or threatening behaviour or loud comments, whilst within the precincts of an exhibition may be reported to the Committee of such exhibition by a judge, steward, member of the TCA Inc., or a member of the public. It shall be the duty of the Committee of the exhibition to supply all possible evidence, including the names and addresses of any witnesses, to any such incident in a report to TCA Inc. Council within seven (7) days of the exhibition. The responsibility of investigating and taking appropriate action in connection with cases of causing annoyance shall rest with the TCA Inc Council who shall deal with the matter and impose such penalty as it deems fit.
